Greystones Cancer Support is a community cancer support group offering guidance, encouragement and support to cancer patients, their families and their friends since 1994. This year, we mark our Twentieth Anniversary.
Tania King, a specialist in Medical Lymphatic and Sport Treatments, has been providing manual lymphatic drainage assistance to Members of Greystones Cancer Support for years. Tania has played an active role in raising awareness of Lymphoedema, the importance of good maintenance of the lymphatic system and methods of treatment. Tania has held Lymphoedema Information Sessions at our Centre, which have been very helpful to our Members. She has also provided skilled treatment for our Members who were suffering from Lymphoedema.
She has acted over and above the call of duty, often visiting Members in their home to make it easier for them. At all times, we have found Tania King to extremely professional, competent, alert to our Members’ needs, intelligent and most of all, caring.
Our Members have been delighted to have been cared for by her and have made marked improvements under her supervision. They came away from her treatments refreshed and better able to cope. Tania King has been of great assistance to us and we would have no hesitation in recommending her.

I was in hospital last June with a very swollen right leg. I left the hospital two weeks later with a diagnosis of lymphoedema, not knowing what it was and where I would go for help and advice, unfortunately it wasn't available in the hospital.
